By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the website.

3. Eligibility and younger users

You must be at least 15 years old to use this website.

If you are under 18 years old, you may use the website only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must make any service enquiry, booking, purchase, or agreement on your behalf.

By allowing a person under 18 to use the website, the parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for supervising that use.

DevMates (Pvt) Ltd. does not knowingly enter into paid service agreements directly with persons under 18.

If DevMate reasonably believes that a person under 15 has used the website or submitted personal information, DevMate may restrict access and delete that information where appropriate.

4. Enquiries do not create an engagement

Sending an email, completing an enquiry form, participating in an assessment, or discussing a possible service does not by itself:

  • create a consultant-client relationship;
  • require DevMate to accept an engagement;
  • guarantee availability or a response;
  • reserve a session or delivery date; or
  • create an obligation to perform services.

A paid engagement begins only after DevMates (Pvt) Ltd. and the customer agree to its scope and commercial terms in writing.

5. Professional services

Paid services may be governed by a quotation, proposal, statement of work, order, engagement letter, or other written service agreement.

The applicable agreement may address:

  • scope, deliverables, and exclusions;
  • fees, taxes, and payment terms;
  • timelines and dependencies;
  • customer responsibilities;
  • access to systems, accounts, and information;
  • confidentiality and data handling;
  • intellectual-property ownership and licences;
  • acceptance criteria;
  • changes to scope;
  • cancellation and rescheduling; and
  • support, maintenance, or follow-up arrangements.

If a service agreement conflicts with these website Terms and Conditions, the service agreement will govern the relevant paid engagement to the extent of the conflict.

6. Prices, currency, and taxes

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices displayed on devmate.consulting are quoted in United States dollars (USD).

Displayed prices are informational and do not constitute binding quotations. DevMate will confirm the final price, scope, currency, payment schedule, and applicable taxes or charges before a paid engagement begins.

Unless a quotation or service agreement states otherwise, displayed prices exclude:

  • applicable taxes and government charges;
  • payment-processing fees;
  • bank charges and currency-conversion costs;
  • third-party software and licences;
  • hosting and infrastructure costs;
  • hardware and equipment;
  • travel expenses; and
  • work outside the agreed scope.

Customers are responsible for charges imposed by their bank, card provider, payment provider, or currency-conversion service.

Where DevMates (Pvt) Ltd. is legally required to collect or charge a tax, that amount will be included in or added to the final invoice as stated in the applicable quotation or service agreement.

7. Customer and user responsibilities

When using the website or contacting DevMate, you agree to:

  • provide information that you reasonably believe is accurate;

You are responsible for reviewing the relevant third-party terms before using their services.

13. Website availability and changes

DevMate may update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website.

DevMates (Pvt) Ltd. does not guarantee that the website or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Website content, service descriptions, assessment methods, prices, and availability may be updated as DevMate’s services develop.

14. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its publicly available content are provided “as is” and “as available.”

DevMates (Pvt) Ltd. does not warrant that:

  • the website will meet every user’s requirements;
  • the website will always be available or free from errors;
  • content or assessment results will be complete or accurate;
  • recommendations will produce a particular outcome; or
  • every defect, risk, or vulnerability will be identified.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

  • access to or use of the website;

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs arising from:

  • your unlawful use of the website;
  • your material breach of these Terms and Conditions;
  • your infringement of another party’s rights; or
  • material you submit without the necessary rights or authority.

DevMate may suspend or terminate access to the website where a user:

  • materially breaches these Terms and Conditions;
  • creates a security or operational risk;
  • infringes another party’s rights; or
  • uses the website unlawfully.

Provisions that reasonably need to continue after termination—including provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, submitted information, and governing law—will remain effective.

19. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

DevMates (Pvt) Ltd. may revise these Terms and Conditions when its website, services, business practices, or legal obligations change.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply from the date of publication unless otherwise stated or applicable law requires a different approach.
