Different from generative AI
Generative AI can provide flexible narrative analysis, but its output may vary with the prompt, model, and context. CV Signal does not upload a CV or ask an AI service to generate an opaque recommendation.
Human judgement remains
A reviewer records the evidence, checks the result, and owns the hiring decision. The two approaches serve different purposes; this comparison does not claim that either is universally more accurate.

Licence setup for every operating system
- Use the Get License form to request a 7-day trial or commercial licence.
- Download and open the package for your operating system.
- Import the licence file supplied by DevMate when the application opens.
macOS
Application bundle supplied in a ZIP archive.
- Download and extract the macOS archive.
- Double click on the extracted application.
- You may get a security alert because you are trying to open an outside application.
- Navigate to Privacy and Security.
- Under Security, find the DevMate CV Signal application shown as blocked.
- Click Open Anyway.
- The application will open.
- Import the received licence file for activation.
Windows
Windows application supplied in a ZIP archive.
- Download and extract the Windows archive.
- Open the extracted folder and run the DevMate CV Signal application.
Linux
Linux application image supplied in a compressed archive.
- Download and extract the Linux archive.
- Open the extracted application folder and launch DevMate CV Signal.

Local by design
CVs, candidate details, assessment answers, and saved assessments remain on your device. They are not uploaded to DevMate or an AI service.
Human-controlled
The application helps a reviewer apply a consistent evidence standard. It does not automatically select or reject candidates, and the reviewer remains responsible for every assessment.
Indicative, not predictive
Results are indicative decision support. The model has not been validated against recruitment outcomes and does not predict or guarantee interviews, offers, or hiring success.
